I would say that my standard for living is generally below average for a person of my citizenship.
Nonetheless, I think someone might die if my landlord (who is not a plumber) tries to fix my shower by himself one more time. It is not working. I can't shower. It's been malfunctioning for over a month now and the shower stopped working on Tuesday. Don't get me wrong, I love a good bucket bath. But, c'mon man.
I'm working a lot, getting ready to move in 16 DAYS, trying to see everyone I know before then.
As Barbara would say... I can't be bothered.

not just barbara says that you know, everyone in England does too.
except it sounds more like this:
"am I bovverred?"
Ashley- you should be taking notes from Robyn!
By the way, I spent some time in your country today. Do you realise how hard it is to find stamps/the post office/ a mailbox in Sumas? Oh man. I liked the stamp dispensing machine, though, except I didnt bring quite enough cash... so I found out that it will accept canadian nickels, in case you ever need to know.
Oh! And does Americ ahave 1 dollar COINS now? Or am I just being realy dumb?
Oh Creep, don't you love how the Sumas post office is on a weird back street? I hope you went to city hall to ask my mom where it is.
The United States of America sort of has one dollar coins, but I don't think there are many in circulation because I never see them.
I am taking notes.
Isn't that the Sacagawea dollar? She's that navive woman who helped Lewis and Clark explore what's now Seattle. Check it out here.
How do I know this? From the Simpsons, of course.
you know, for real, what is with landlords trying to fix things? Jennifer is STILL trying to "fix" our carpets and stuff, so my place is still a MESS. It's just outrageous.
I can't be bothered to stay there because it smells like mold, so I've been elsewhere throughout the day (mainly the zoo) and then just shower and get ready at my place. grr. I'm annoyed as well!
Wow B, between the 2 of us we have a fully functional apartment. I'm pretty sure there are rental laws about this stuff... oh well.
Yeah, the Sacajawea dollar is the one. They actually came out back when I was in high school, I think. You don't really see them much unless you put a $20 bill into a vending machine. Then you might get a bunch of them back. But you can't use them on the bus or at the laundromat's quarter dispenser, so I don't really see the point.
Interesting. A little silly, maybe.
